Welcome to Southcoast Koi & Aquatics. These terms set out the basis on which you may use our website and buy products from us. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. Using Our Website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We may update or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
3. Products
We take care to describe and picture our products accurately, but some natural variation is to be expected. Photographs of livestock are illustrative — each koi, fish, plant, and other living item is unique and may differ in size, colour, and markings from the images shown. Equipment specifications are provided by manufacturers and may occasionally change.
4. Livestock
Living animals require appropriate care. By ordering livestock you confirm that you have suitable conditions — including adequate tank or pond size, filtration, and water quality — to house and care for the species concerned. We may refuse or cancel a livestock order where we believe an animal's welfare cannot reasonably be assured. Livestock is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee rather than standard returns; please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
5. Orders and Contract
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched or is ready for collection. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — for example if an item is out of stock, has been incorrectly priced, or we cannot be satisfied that livestock will be housed appropriately — and will refund any payment already taken.
6. Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We try to ensure all prices are accurate, but if we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel. Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure checkout.
7. Delivery and Collection
Delivery times and charges are shown at checkout. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Livestock is supplied under arrangements designed to protect animal welfare — please follow any handling and acclimatisation guidance we provide.
8. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Your right to return items and our refund process are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy. For most online orders you also have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (livestock and certain perishable or sealed items excepted). Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Southcoast Koi & Aquatics and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
10. Our Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from a failure to follow care, handling, or installation guidance. This does not affect your statutory rights.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to your purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
